Freedom Fair at Ruston Way
Tacoma Freedom Fair events will cover two miles of the Ruston Way waterfront on the 4th of July. Starting at 10 AM, the schedule includes seven live entertainment performance areas featuring a wide variety of music. Those attending will find games, kids entertainment, and an open-air market with arts, crafts and 2 food courts.
The Parade of Tall Ships
The Tall Ships® Tacoma Festival kicks off with the magnificent Parade of Sail.  All of the participating ships will begin their final voyage to Tacoma from Quartermaster Harbor on Vashon Island.

Fourth of Jul-Ivar's Celebration
Myrtle Edwards Park ... near Pier 70 at the Waterfront is home to Seattle's day-long Fourth of Jul-Ivar's celebration. Live music & entertainment begins at 12:30 and ends with a great Fireworks Display at 10 PM. 300,000 People have attended this popular 43rd annual event in the past ... plus it's free.

Lake Union Firework Show
Hosting the largest Fireworks Show in the Seattle area, Gasworks Park will light up the beautiful Lake Union district with a 'huge' Pyrotechnic Extravaganza at 10 PM.

2008 Seattle International BeerFest
July 4-6, 2008 - Seattle Center - Downtown Seattle Washington. Celebrating the world's most legendary brewing styles and the nations that made them famous. Come taste over 130 world-class beers from more than 15 countries. Hours: Friday 12 PM - 10 PM; Saturday 12 PM - 10 PM; Sunday 12 PM - 7 PM. Admission is $20, which includes a glass and 10 beer tickets.

Seafair 2008
July 5 - August 3, 2008 - throughout the Seattle area. Seafair Seattle is the largest Festival in the Northwest and is rated one of the Top 10 Events in the Country. There's always something for everyone at Seafair Seattle, from Arts & Crafts to live Music... huge Parades... Triathalons... Festivals and more!. Major Events include the Milk Carton Derby, Torchlight Run & Parade, the KeyBank Air Show featuring the famous Blue Angels, and General Motors Cup Unlimited Hydroplane Races held on beautiful Lake Washington.

FUN THINGS TO DO - Seattle Area
